The INSTITUTE FOR INTERDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH endeavors to rethink all areas of knowledge, theory, and practice, exploring the interrelated nature of the academic disciplines. Founded in 1983, this educational think-tank challenges the compartmentalization of knowledge and encourages integrative approaches in the arts and sciences, social sciences, and humanities, especially from religious perspectives. IIR is dedicated to fostering the spirit of free inquiry and academic excellence through scholarly research, conferences, and peer-reviewed publications. The Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies is the thematic annual of IIR, featuring engaging articles and current book reviews.
